Risk management precedent setting claims, 1959-[ongoing]

Liability and/or property claims which have a precedent setting impact on the State of Wisconsin and the State Risk Management Program. An example is the Oshkosh fire ($3.5 million), which is the largest fire in the history of Wisconsin's self-funded programs. Files may include complete property and/or liability investigations and supporting documentation. Precedent setting cases are determined by the State Risk Manager at the time cases are closed.
